What is in Your Cup?
At St. City Roasters we specialize in the finest quality (Organic and naturally certified) coffees. Our extensive experience in the green coffee trade allows us to select our suppliers carefully, requiring them to be highly principled, certified, and licensed traders.
Why Organic Coffee?
People ask why they should choose Organic Coffee over conventional coffees. The fact is, coffee farmers worldwide use enormous amounts of herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides on their crops. These chemicals affect not only the earth and the plants, but also the plantation workers who work in these fields every day.
An additional benefit to Organic growing practices is that when a farm commits to the certification process there becomes a greater emphasis on the tending of the crop. The result is a higher quality product compared to other varieties from that same region.
What is Fair Trade?

Fair Trade is a partnership that seeks to provide greater equality for producers in the global marketplace. The Fair Trade Certified label guarantees that farmers and farm workers from developing countries receive a fair price for their crops and products.
Utz Kapeh - Certified Responsible Coffee
From the Mayan language, Utz Kapeh means 'good coffee'. Coffee farms and cooperatives use the Utz Kapeh certification to prove that they grow their coffee professionaly and with care for their workers, local communities, and their environment.
What's in it for you?
When you see the Utz Kapeh logo on your coffee, you know it has been grown responsibly. In addition, you can trust that your brand takes its commitment to sustainable growing practices seriously.
